Here's Some More Networking Tips For You!

75% of your business will come from networking!… It is critical to your success. So your challenge today is to: Develop your commercial, visit several groups and continue to educate yourself!

Let’s look at some tools to improve your networking, offer resources and to find additional networking opportunities.

Realize. Everyone you encounter will potentially provide you with money to invest, a property to acquire, either from a buyer or themselves. Just ask. Remember it’s a relationship business and always remember “What’s in it for them” when speaking with someone.

30 Second Commercial. Develop one today. Practice and use it every day when someone asks “So what do you do?” The commercial should be interesting, informative and tempt the desire for more info.

Groups. Where can you find them? Check out your local Chamber of Commerce, Rotary and my favorite, the Business Development Council where you are investing.

National Real Estate Investor’s Association (www.nationalreia.com). Visit the site to find a local chapter, go to the meeting, and introduce yourself to find like-minded individuals.

Toastmasters International (www.toastmasters.org). A great resource to help you become more comfortable speaking to people or groups. There is a “get free resources” section.

Yahoo Groups (www.groups.yahoo.com). Thousands of groups exist. Search for one in your area or where ever you are investing. Some groups are online only, while some have local meetings. Consider forming your own group.

Social Networking Sites. LinkedIn offers the ability to join groups and talk to other like-minded individuals.

Articles.

Business Networking International. BNI has a philosophy that “givers gain” and “Who do you know?” If you provide a referral to someone, they will return the favor. BNI’s website is www.bni.com. Check it out and locate and visit a chapter near you.

EZine Articles (www.ezinearticles.com). Search for articles about real estate investing and networking.

Always continue to educate yourself and always be connecting, because networking is vital to everything you do in your business!!
